This excellent extra virgin olive oil is a true expression of the Ligurian terroir, made exclusively from Taggiasca olives, the iconic variety from the Imperia region of northwest Italy, which has been highly valued for centuries for its unique taste and aromatic delicacy.

Taggiasca olives are small but rich in oil, naturally fruity, sweet, and delicate in flavour, setting them apart from other olive varieties.

The oil produced from the Taggiasca variety is renowned worldwide for its smooth, harmonious balance and subtle, complex flavour profile, which enhances dishes without overpowering them.

The "Fruttoro" olive oil from the small Ligurian producer Frantoio Bianco is harvested early in the season when the olives are freshest, then cold-pressed in the heartland of the Taggiasca olive, Imperia province.

This process ensures a vibrant, fruity aroma with delicate spicy notes and a sweet, rounded flavour, in which subtle green almond and fresh olive notes can also be detected. Perfect for those who appreciate sophisticated and expressive extra virgin olive oil.

This pleasantly versatile, medium-fruity oil brings out the best in both raw and cooked dishes – drizzle it over salads, fresh seafood, grilled vegetables, artisanal breads, creamy cheeses, or use it to flavour pasta and fish dishes.

A true specialty – its elegant character makes "Fruttoro" a perfect choice for home cooks and true gourmets alike.
