Organic Green Tea with Lemongrass, 80 g

Located on the lush volcanic slopes of the Azores, the Gorreana tea plantation, which has been operating for over 140 years, presents another masterpiece: a delicious Hysson green tea, flavored with vibrant Indian lemongrass.

Gorreana – the oldest still operating tea plantation in Europe – combines centuries of tradition with the unique microclimate of the Azores, producing teas of rare purity, refined flavour and consistent quality.

Grown on an estate hundreds of kilometers from industrial pollution, nestled among majestic mountains, Gorreana tea contains absolutely no herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, dyes or preservatives. Harvested between April and October, the 100% organic tea is untouched by any chemicals.

This lemongrass-flavored green tea will captivate you from the first sip. As you pour, you are greeted by a light, fresh aroma: the soft herbal notes of freshly steamed green leaves blend with the bright, citrusy, slightly herbal scent of lemongrass. On the palate, it offers a smooth, mellow green tea body – refreshing, with a gentle, soft spicy note – balanced by the zesty, lemony warmth of lemongrass.

The finish is clean and long-lasting, with a subtle citrus-herbal aftertaste that beckons you for another cup.

This blend is delicious served either slightly chilled or hot, perfect for a refreshing start to your morning or a soothing afternoon break. Its gentle, uplifting nature is perfect for moments when you are looking for clarity, tranquility, or a light refreshment, without the bitterness of stronger teas.

Preparation : boil 200 ml of water, put it in a teapot and let it cool for 70 °C . Add 1 teaspoon of tea and let it steep for 3-5 minutes.

You can make up to 2-3 brews from one batch of tea, and each new brew will surprise you with a different flavor!
