Made from 100% Sardinian sheep's milk, Pecorino Riserva Nera by Agriexport Sardegna reflects the island's deep-rooted cheesemaking traditions, developing its character during a minimum of three months of maturation , a process that enriches both its texture and its flavour. The result is a cheese of extraordinary depth and personality.
Covered in a distinctive black rind, Pecorino Riserva Nera is compact but slightly elastic with a straw-colored interior, and its texture strikes the perfect balance between firmness and creaminess, making it both satisfying and refined.
The taste is bold, with a strong character that gradually unfolds in the mouth. It carries a slight warmth and delicate spice, leaving a complex and elegant, lasting aftertaste.
This cheese can be enjoyed in many ways. Served on a cheese platter, it goes well with characterful cold cuts and rustic bread.
