The best way to prepare it is to empty the contents into a casserole dish and heat over a low heat, although it can also be heated in a bain-marie or in a suitable container for 2 minutes in the microwave at medium power. You can personalise the dish by adding spices (curry, ginger, paprika...etc.), slices of boiled egg, garlic browned with oil and cayenne...etc.
