Parras Wines' vineyards are located in the Lisbon wine region, a wide and diverse Portuguese wine region north of Lisbon, stretching along the Atlantic coast. This red wine also originates from here - and the name "Alfacinha" is the traditional nickname for Lisbonites. The wine aims to reflect the friendly, everyday character of the region, while respecting its cultural roots.
This wine is made from three classic Portuguese red grape varieties: Tinta Roriz (also known as Aragonez), Touriga Nacional, and Castelão. It is fermented in small stainless steel tanks to preserve its primary fruity taste. Its aroma and flavor feature notes of red fruits such as raspberry and blackberry, with balanced acidity and ripe, elegant tannins.
It is particularly recommended with grilled or roasted meats, cold cuts, and tapas, but it also pairs excellently with medium-intensity stews and tomato-based dishes, as well as with mature or semi-hard cheeses.
Grape varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Castelão.
Recommended serving temperature: 16-18 °C
