La Chinata iberico pâté brings a rich, traditional flavor to our table in Extremadura, western Spain: carefully prepared from high-quality Iberian pork, flavored with the smoky, slightly sweet taste of the original “Pimentón de la Vera” pepper - this spice with a protected geographical origin gives the pâté its characteristic, warm flavor.

The result is a creamy delicacy in which gourmet cream made from Iberian pork is mixed with extra virgin olive oil and spices, creating a smooth but full-bodied spread that combines the succulent taste of Iberian pork with the intense aroma of smoked paprika.

It's also excellent as an appetizer, but it's best enjoyed spread on crusty bread, toast, or traditional regaña, so its layered flavor profile shows in every bite.

But the versatility of pâté doesn't end there - it can be used to enrich sauces for red meats, pasta or vegetables, or as a tasty side dish with potatoes, for example.

Serving it slightly chilled improves its texture and brings out the flavors of the smoked paprika and salty pork even more, especially as an aperitif, paired with a full-bodied red wine.
