A smoked, cylindrically-shaped sausage made from the streaky part (meat and fat) of black pork belly.

Locally referred to as "Alentejano Bacon" and internationally recognized as pancetta, this delicacy boasts a distinctive flavor attributed solely to Alentejo pork.

Derived from black field pork, it emanates a robust, cured, and enduring aroma. Exhibiting a lusciously fatty composition and a marbled visual allure with a ruby and shiny hue, this product offers a mild smokiness, minimal saltiness, and a subtle acidity.

Suggestions: Best savored at room temperature (23 to 25 ºC).
Slice very thin for the best taste experience.
