This amazing snack is from Rosara's new product range. First they select the best Piquillo peppers from Lodosa, D.O.P and roast them over beech wood. Then they peel them without water so that they do not lose their flavour, and they fill them with a delicate béchamel sauce of desalted cod, prawns, king prawns and poached vegetables. It is a very laborious process with a delicious result. It is notable for its low fat content (2.6%), low salt content (0.23g/100g) and it is also gluten-free.
These stuffed peppers are very delicate, it is recommended to open the can, remove the peppers one by one with a spoon and then pour the sauce over them.
It is best to heat in a warm water bath (before opening the tin), in a casserole dish over a low heat. It can be served with slices of cod or smoked salmon, slices of jacket potato, cod brandade, cooked prawn tails, white rice, etc
