A Mariscadora is the premium brand of the Galician family-owned cannery Costas y Miñán, which has been producing high-quality seafood specialties since 1966 on the northwestern coast of Spain, near the famous Rías Gallegas estuaries. The company continues to work today with traditional recipes and an artisanal approach, while using ingredients sourced from the best Galician fishing grounds.

In this special conserve, carefully selected Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) meets high-quality extra virgin olive oil. The perfect harmony of these two ingredients allows the fish's natural, clean taste to shine, while the olive oil adds a silky texture and Mediterranean character to the product.

Cod has been one of the most important ingredients in Spanish and Portuguese gastronomy for centuries. Its flesh is firm yet tender, and its taste is elegant and balanced, making it one of the most popular seafood fishes.

It can be enjoyed on its own as part of tapas, with fresh bread, but it is also excellent in salads, alongside grilled vegetables, or even as an ingredient for a light pasta dish. A glass of dry white wine or a fresh Galician Albariño pairs particularly well with it.

A seemingly simple, yet incredibly refined Spanish seafood delicacy, built on the power of quality ingredients.
