Nestled in Georgia’s lush Guria region, Teni Tea is a small family-run estate with deep roots in the country’s tea heritage.

Founded by Dato Tenieshvili nearly three decades ago, the farm cultivates 80-year-old tea bushes using traditional organic methods. What began as a modest venture powered by a homemade waterwheel has evolved into a respected name in Georgian tea, where each leaf is harvested and processed with the same care and craftsmanship as in the very beginning.

Wild Blueberry Leaf Herbal Tea

This unique herbal infusion is crafted from the hand-picked leaves of wild blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), gathered in spring from the high-altitude Bakhmaro Mountains. Though not made from the tea plant, these carefully rolled and twisted leaves resemble black tea in appearance - and even echo its richness in flavor.

Naturally caffeine-free, the brew offers a smooth, balanced taste with layered sweet-tart notes of hibiscus, blueberry, raspberry, and a hint of honeydew. The subtle acidity is gentle, and the overall profile is elegant and comforting. Through skilled processing, the leaves undergo enzymatic development that brings out unexpected depth and complexity - a rare quality in herbal teas.

This is a fascinating evening tea, ideal for moments of calm. Beyond its flavor, it’s rich in antioxidants, offering a natural boost to well-being and vitality. A beautiful addition to any tea collection, especially for those seeking something a little different.

Packaging: Teni Tea comes in resealable kraft paper pouch, in 50g or 100g sizes.
