The history of Menabrea dates back to 1846, when Giuseppe Menabrea founded his brewery in Biella, Piedmont region.
Today, Menabrea is still one of Italy's oldest continuously operating breweries, building its excellent reputation on the crystal-clear waters of the Biella Alps and traditional brewing methods.
The Menabrea Pils is a classic bottom-fermented pilsner-style beer. It has a golden, brilliant appearance with a fine, persistent head. Its aroma features fresh malty and floral hop notes, while its taste complements soft graininess with an elegant, long-lasting hop bitterness. A refined, balanced pils that combines German style with Italian elegance.
An excellent choice with grilled chicken, roasted fish, pizza, aged cheeses or Mediterranean appetizers.
Recommended to be served well chilled, when its refreshing character and delicate hop aromas are best appreciated.
