Premium quality Portuguese extra virgin olive oil from the the family mill of Fernando and Nuno Caldeira.
It is made from a blend of the traditional olive varieties of the Douro region - Madural, Verdeal and Cobrançosa.
This olive oil is obtained directly from the freshly harvested olives, using only mechanical processes at low temperatures and respecting the technological requirements. Strict quality control is applied throughout the production process, with every stage of production being monitored.
Greenish yellow in colour, with a fruity aroma and a balanced flavour. It is characterised by a very slight bitterness and pungency (a feature of high quality oils), with a slightly peppery aftertaste.
Perfect oil for cooking, salads, generally for all occasions.
Store in a dry and cool place, away from direct heat and light.
Suggestion: when buying a larger can, transfer the olive oil into smaller bottles and use only one bottle at a time - this prevents oxidation of the oil.
