Verdejo Pecatis Tuis, white, 2024

Pecatis Tuis Verdejo is a fresh, fruity Spanish white wine from the Castilla y León region, showcasing all the endearing qualities of the Verdejo grape variety.

The wine is produced by the nearly century-old Bodega Cuatro Rayas, based in the town of La Seca, which is one of the most respected experts of the Verdejo variety in Spain.

Although the winery is located in the heart of the Rueda wine region, this selection is produced under the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León geographical indication. This grants the winemaker greater freedom, while Cuatro Rayas continues to process the high-quality Verdejo grapes with the same care for which the winery is known.

To preserve the aromas, the grapes are harvested during the cooler night hours and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. As a result, the wine retains its freshness, vibrant fruity character, and the elegant aromas characteristic of Verdejo.

The nose reveals citrus, peach, pear, and tropical fruits, made even more exciting by subtle herbal and slightly fennel-like notes. On the palate, it is fresh, harmonious, and succulent, with pleasant acidity, juicy fruit flavors, and the delicately almond-bitter finish typical of the Verdejo variety.

An excellent choice for grilled fish, seafood, salads, risottos, asparagus dishes, or fresh goat cheeses. It pairs perfectly with Sol Deli's canned fish and Spanish cheese selections, but it also provides a great experience on its own when well-chilled, as an aperitif.
