'Nduja in jar, 180 g

If Il Crespo perpetuates the rustic tradition of 'nduja in its most classic form, the Vasetti ("glass") version, brings the same Spilinga culinary experience in a convenient, glass form, perfect for everyday kitchen use.

Like all 'nduja, it is made from selected pork, bacon, lard, spicy Calabrian chili and salt, the combination of which creates a spreadable, smoky delicacy with a deep character.

The sausage cream produced by 'Nduja San Donato in Spilinga, the birthplace of the product, carries the true essence of the region: the smoky air, family recipes and the craftsmanship that defines Calabrian meat products.

To create the Vasetti version, San Donato reprocesses the traditionally cured and smoked 'nduja (as in the case of Crespo): the product is removed from its natural casing after it has fully ripened and then packaged in glass jars.

This way, you get ready-to-use 'nduja that doesn't need to be sliced or unwrapped.

Vasetti 'nduja offers the same warm, smoky flavor as the natural casing-stuffed variety, but its texture is even more spreadable and convenient to use – silky, smooth and easy to handle.

Since it's in a jar, it's ideal for adding just the right amount to your meals. You can use it as a spread on warm toast, stir a spoon into tomato sauce to add a spicy flavor, enrich pasta or bean dishes, mix it into dips - feel free to experiment!

Store the bottle in the refrigerator after opening. Before serving, you can gently warm the bottle in a water bath, or scoop out a small amount with a spoon and warm it – the oils will soften and release the smoky aroma.
