This product is a perfect example of when the quality of the raw ingredient alone would be enough – but here, it is further refined with an excellent organic extra virgin olive oil. The flesh of the garfish (aguja) is delicate, soft, and elegantly textured, which the olive oil makes even rounder and silkier.
The fish is carefully selected and then handcrafted to preserve its natural taste and texture. The result is a clean, pure flavour profile where nothing overpowers the maritime character.
It is an excellent ingredient for tapas, but also works wonderfully on a slice of toasted bread with a little lemon or even in a light salad.
Simple, yet premium – just as a Galician preserve should be.
