The company started in March 1983, in a small factory, in the centre of Guijuelo.

The location of the first facilities was an old liver pâté factory, whose name was BRISA, hence the brand name, which is still used today.

José M.ª Jiménez Jiménez and his brothers founded the company and began to develop the business.

Currently, BRISA offers a wide range of high-quality products made from Iberian pork. They are characterised by their strong work ethic and their absolute commitment to quality. They are always open to the challenges of novelty and innovation, while maintaining their traditional know-how.

All their products are made using traditional, artisanal methods, incorporating innovative techniques to meet the latest consumer demands.

All their products are lactose- and gluten-free, making them suitable for everyone.

They hold several quality certifications, such as the Iberian Standard certification, certification as an organic product manufacturer, and a special self-control system certification, allowing them to market their products worldwide.

Furthermore, they also possess theTierra de Saborseal, which is a hallmark for products from the Castile and León region.

BRISA has grown from a small business into a company with new facilities spanning over 4500 square meters. It has solidified and developed its unique identity and values, which are based on traditional and artisanal methods, as well as a passion for and respect for the Iberian pig.
